Ken Robinson

Clandestine Operative, Combat Reporter, and Television Producer


Ken Robinson is a Creator, Writer, and an Executive Producer of a Jerry Bruckheimer, Warner Brothers Television, and NBC series entitled E-Ring (2005), based on his experiences in Special Operations and the Global War on Terrorism. Additionally, he is Executive Producing, writing and developing feature films with Jerry Bruckheimer, Disney, and Sony Pictures.

He served a twenty-four year career in a variety of tactical, operational, and strategic assignments including Ranger, Special Forces, and clandestine special operations units. His experience includes service with the National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency.

Ken's unique career included assignments in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chief's of Staff, and Special Mission Units, as a commander and senior staff officer planning, and leading special operations forces (SOF) in such places as Somalia, Sarajevo, Bosnia (BiH), Colombia, Haiti, and Iraq.

After retirement from the military, Ken was a principal planner for the Interagency Terrorism Response and Awareness Program (ITRAP), working with the senior top officials of the US government, and ran a successful Middle east Kidnap and Ransom (K&R) business with Kroll, Incorporated.

Ken served for five years as a Senior Terrorism and National Security Analyst for CNN, and has been a combat embedded reporter in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was honored with a First Place - National Headliner Award for his reporting on the September 11th, 2001 Attacks on America. He is a current credentialed journalist in the Global War on Terror. In December 2007 he conducted a survey of the state of intelligence and the military in Iraq, and in May 2008 performed a similar survey of the insurgent war in Colombia. In July 2008 Ken returns to Afghanistan.

His recent national and international speaking engagements include; St. Andrews University, Scotland, Stanford University, US Army Senior Intelligence Officer Conference, General Dynamics World Wide Conference, CNN National Bureau Chief's Conference and the Joint Forces Land Component Commanders Conference at the United States Army War College.

Ken is a 2004 inductee of the National Military Intelligence Hall of Fame. He currently resides in Beverly Hills, California.
